CRO AGENCY

More traffic isn't always the answer. Better conversion is.

TECHTARN is a conversion rate optimisation agency for businesses in the USA, UK, UAE, India, Singapore, Australia and worldwide. We use analytics, heatmaps, user research and A/B testing to find out why visitors leave — then fix it.

Doubling your conversion rate has the same effect as doubling your traffic, without paying for more clicks. Our CRO services cover landing pages, forms, checkout and mobile journeys, with every change tested before it becomes permanent.

CRO works best with trustworthy analytics, and it makes Google Ads, SEO and email marketing more profitable. Need a new page to test? Our web design and UI/UX teams build it.

  • Research before opinions

Analytics, heatmaps, recordings and user feedback show what is really stopping people.

  • Tested, not guessed

Changes are A/B tested with enough traffic to trust the result before they go live.

  • More from the traffic you have

Every improvement makes your ad, SEO and email spend work harder.

  • Mobile first

Most visitors are on phones, so we test mobile journeys first.

  • Measured in revenue

We report on leads, sales and revenue per visitor — not just clicks.

INTERACTIVE · CONVERSION BLOCKERS

Eight things that stop people converting

Pick one to see a before-and-after example and how we fix it.

Every extra second of loading time makes more visitors give up before they see your offer.

How we fix it

  • Compress images and use modern formats
  • Remove unused scripts and apps
  • Improve Core Web Vitals
Conversion blocker 2 of 8

Unclear headline

If visitors cannot tell in a few seconds what you offer and why it matters, they leave.

How we fix it

  • Say what you do and for whom
  • Match the headline to the ad or search
  • Lead with the main benefit
Conversion blocker 3 of 8

Long forms

Every unnecessary field is another reason not to finish.

How we fix it

  • Ask only for what you need now
  • Inline validation and clear errors
  • Multi-step forms for longer journeys
Conversion blocker 4 of 8

Weak call to action

Vague, hidden or competing buttons leave visitors unsure what to do next.

How we fix it

  • One clear primary action per page
  • Specific button text
  • Visible without scrolling on mobile
Conversion blocker 5 of 8

Missing trust signals

New visitors need proof before they share details or pay.

How we fix it

  • Genuine reviews and ratings
  • Clear guarantees and policies
  • Security and payment badges
Conversion blocker 6 of 8

Poor mobile experience

Small tap targets, pop-ups and hard-to-read text push mobile visitors away.

How we fix it

  • Thumb-friendly buttons
  • No intrusive pop-ups
  • Sticky call or checkout bar
Conversion blocker 7 of 8

Too many distractions

Busy pages with many links pull attention away from the one thing you want people to do.

How we fix it

  • Simplify landing page navigation
  • Remove competing offers
  • Clear visual hierarchy
Conversion blocker 8 of 8

Checkout friction

Forced sign-ups, surprise costs and long checkouts cause abandoned carts.

How we fix it

INFOGRAPHIC · THE CRO PROCESS

A repeatable loop, not a one-off redesign

Big redesigns change many things at once, so you never know what helped. CRO works in a loop: research, form a hypothesis, test it, learn and repeat. Each round builds on the last.

The research step uses your analytics, heatmaps and user feedback. Ideas come from real problems, not opinions — and the results feed back into your content and ad messaging too.

INFOGRAPHIC · PRIORITISING TEST IDEAS

Test the big, easy wins first

Every idea gets a score for impact, confidence and ease. Bubble size shows confidence. The top-right corner gets tested first.

FAQ

CRO FAQs

Answers to the questions clients ask us most.

What is conversion rate optimisation?
CRO is the process of finding out why visitors do not take action on your website, then testing changes that help more of them become leads or customers.
What is a good conversion rate?
It depends heavily on your industry, offer, traffic source and what counts as a conversion. Comparing against your own past results is more useful than a general average.
How much traffic do I need for A/B testing?
Enough to reach a reliable result in a reasonable time. Use the test duration calculator above with your own numbers. With low traffic we focus on research and best-practice fixes instead.
How long does an A/B test run?
Usually at least two full weeks, to cover weekday and weekend behaviour, and until the planned sample size is reached. Stopping early often gives false winners.
What do you test first?
The changes with the highest expected impact and lowest effort on your highest-traffic pages — see the prioritisation chart above.
Which tools do you use?
GA4 for analytics, Microsoft Clarity or Hotjar for heatmaps and recordings, and tools such as VWO, Optimizely or Convert for testing — depending on your platform and budget.
Is CRO only for e-commerce?
No. Lead generation, SaaS sign-ups, bookings and downloads all benefit. Any page with a goal can be optimised.
Will CRO affect my SEO?
Done properly, no — tests follow Google's guidelines, and faster, clearer pages usually help SEO. We work alongside our SEO team.
Do I need accurate tracking first?
Yes. If conversions are not tracked correctly, test results cannot be trusted. We check tracking first and fix it with our analytics service if needed.
Can you redesign our landing pages too?
Yes — we design and build landing pages, then test them. See our website design service.
