Unreal Engine 5 · C++ · Blueprints

Real-time worlds that look real

Games, simulations and interactive 3D built with Unreal Engine — cinematic visuals, solid C++ engineering and performance tuned for every platform you target.

UNREAL ENGINE DEVELOPMENT COMPANY

Engineers and artists on one team

TECHTARN is an Unreal Engine development company working with studios and businesses in the USA, UK, UAE, India, Canada, Australia and Singapore. Our Unreal Engine developers build games and real-time 3D in C++ and Blueprints, using Unreal Engine 5 features such as Nanite and Lumen.

Beyond game development, we use Unreal for architectural visualisation, product configurators, training simulations and digital twins for manufacturing and IoT. Choosing an engine? Compare with Unity.

  • BPBlueprints for fast iteration
  • UE5Nanite, Lumen, World Partition
  • XRVR and AR experiences
INTERACTIVE · VIEW MODES

See a scene the way the engine does

Switch view modes like you would in the Unreal editor. Each one shows a different part of how the image is made.

Lit

The final look: materials, lighting and shadows as the player sees them.

BLUEPRINTS + C++

Visual scripting, backed by real code

Blueprints let designers build gameplay by connecting nodes, and see changes right away. Our engineers write the core systems in C++ and expose them to Blueprints, so the game stays fast and the team stays quick.

INTERACTIVE · FRAME BUDGET

Every frame has a time limit

To hit a frame rate, the game, rendering and GPU work must fit inside a fixed number of milliseconds. Pick a platform to see its budget.

16.7ms per frame
GameRenderGPU

1000 ms ÷ frames per second = the budget. The split shown is an illustration — real splits come from profiling your project.

PRODUCTION MAP

From first idea to live game

Every project follows the same map. We show a playable build at every milestone, so you always know where things stand.

QUEST LOG

Unreal Engine FAQs

Open a question to complete it.

Unreal Engine or Unity?
Unreal excels at high-end visuals, large worlds and C++ performance. Unity is often faster for mobile and smaller 2D or 3D games. We use both and recommend based on your project.
Do you use C++ or Blueprints?
Both. Core systems and performance-critical code go in C++; Blueprints are used for gameplay scripting and quick iteration by designers.
What are Nanite and Lumen?
Two Unreal Engine 5 technologies. Nanite renders very detailed geometry efficiently; Lumen provides real-time global illumination. See the render modes above.
Can Unreal Engine run on mobile and VR?
Yes, with careful optimisation. Mobile and VR have much tighter performance budgets — try the frame budget calculator.
Do you build multiplayer games?
Yes — using Unreal's replication system, dedicated servers and cloud hosting through our cloud team.
Do you work outside gaming?
Yes — architectural visualisation, product configurators, training simulations, digital twins and virtual production.
How long does an Unreal project take?
A prototype can take weeks; a visualisation a few months; a full game much longer. We plan in milestones from concept to launch.
Can you take over an existing project?
Yes. We start with a technical review, then fix performance and stability issues and continue development.
What about Unreal Engine licensing?
Unreal Engine has its own licence terms and royalty rules set by Epic Games. We help you understand what applies to your project before you start.
Do you provide post-launch support?
Yes — patches, engine upgrades, new content and live operations. See software maintenance.
