Write search and social tags that get clicked. See your page exactly as Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, X and WhatsApp will show it, fix what the checks flag, then copy clean HTML or Next.js code.

Start from an existing page (optional)

Paste a live page address and we will read its current tags into the form, so you can see what to improve.

Checks

Fix the red and amber items first.

    Your code

Paste the HTML inside the <head> of your page, replacing old title, description and social tags.

    What each tag does

Every tag the generator can write, in plain words.

    Title tag

The clickable headline in Google and the browser tab. Put the main keyword near the start and keep it under about 580 px.

    Meta description

The two lines under the title in search results. It does not affect ranking directly, but a good one gets more clicks.

    Canonical

Tells search engines the preferred address of a page so duplicates do not compete with each other.

    Robots

Lets you keep a page out of search (noindex) or stop link-following (nofollow), and allow large image previews.

    Open Graph

The tags Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and Slack read to build the link preview: title, description and image.

    X (Twitter) card

The same idea for X: a small card or a large image card when your link is posted.

    hreflang

Points search engines to the right language or country version of a page, such as English for India and English for Australia.

    Structured data

JSON-LD that describes your business, article, product, FAQ or breadcrumbs, and can earn rich results in Google.

    Verification tags

Prove you own the site to Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools.

    Questions about meta tags

How long should a meta title be?

Google cuts titles by width, not character count: about 580 pixels on desktop, which is usually 50–60 characters. The generator measures the real pixel width as you type and shows exactly where Google would cut it.

How long should a meta description be?

Aim for 120–155 characters (about 920 pixels on desktop). Mobile shows a little less, so put the most important point first. Google sometimes rewrites descriptions, but a clear, specific one is used far more often.

    Do meta keywords still matter?

Google ignores the meta keywords tag for ranking, and Bing treats heavy use as a spam signal. The tool uses your keywords to check the title and description, and only adds the tag if you want it.

What are Open Graph and X (Twitter) cards?

They control how your link looks when shared on Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Slack and X: the title, description and image. Without them, platforms guess, often picking the wrong image or text. Use a 1200 × 630 px image.

What does the canonical tag do?

It tells search engines which address is the main version of a page, so duplicates (with tracking parameters, http vs https, or www vs non-www) do not split your ranking signals.

    What is JSON-LD structured data?

Code that describes your page to search engines in a standard format (schema.org): your business, an article, a product, an FAQ or breadcrumbs. It can earn rich results such as review stars, prices and breadcrumbs in Google.

Where do I paste the code?

Inside the <head> section of the page, replacing any old title, description and social tags. In WordPress use your SEO plugin's fields or a header-code plugin; in Next.js use the generated metadata export.
