Steady at sea, whatever the traffic

We design, build and run Kubernetes platforms on EKS, AKS, GKE or your own servers — so your apps scale on demand, heal themselves and ship safely many times a day.

KUBERNETES CONSULTING & MANAGED SERVICES

Kubernetes, without the overwhelm

TECHTARN provides Kubernetes consulting and managed services for startups and enterprises in the USA, UK, UAE, India, Canada, Australia and Singapore. Our Kubernetes engineers design clusters, containerise applications, set up GitOps and keep platforms secure and up to date.

We run managed clusters on Amazon EKS, Azure AKS and Google GKE, build cloud-native services in Go and Node.js, and host multi-tenant SaaS platforms. It is all part of our cloud & DevOps practice.

INTERACTIVE · SELF-HEALING

Break a pod. Watch it come back.

You tell Kubernetes how many copies of your app should run. If one crashes, it notices and replaces it automatically. Tap a pod to crash it.

  • All 4 pods running.
INTERACTIVE · AUTOSCALING

More traffic, more pods

The Horizontal Pod Autoscaler adds pods when average CPU goes above a target, and removes them when it falls. Move the traffic slider.

Simplified: pods = requests ÷ capacity per pod, rounded up, kept between 2 and your maximum.

INTERACTIVE · ANATOMY

Zoom into a cluster

Kubernetes is built from boxes inside boxes. Pick a level to zoom in.

Cluster: The whole system: a control plane that makes decisions, and worker nodes that run your apps.

Node: A virtual or physical machine in the cluster. Kubernetes places pods on nodes with enough room.

Pod: The smallest unit Kubernetes runs — one or more containers that share a network address.

Container: Your packaged app and everything it needs to run, built from a container image.

INTERACTIVE · DEPLOYMENTS

Ship new versions without downtime

Pick a strategy and watch version 1 pods (blue) become version 2 pods (green).

Pods are replaced a few at a time, so the app stays online throughout.

FAQ

Kubernetes FAQs

Peel back a note to read the answer.

Do we actually need Kubernetes?
Not always. For a few simple services, a platform like Cloud Run or App Service can be easier. Kubernetes pays off when you run many services, need portability or have complex scaling needs. We will tell you honestly.
EKS, AKS or GKE?
Usually whichever cloud you already use. All three are mature managed Kubernetes services. See our AWS, Azure and Google Cloud pages.
What is GitOps?
A way of running Kubernetes where Git holds the desired state of everything. Tools like Argo CD keep the cluster in sync, so every change is reviewed and reversible.
How does Kubernetes keep apps running?
It constantly compares what should be running with what is running, and fixes differences — restarting crashed containers and replacing lost pods. Try the self-healing demo.
How does autoscaling work?
The Horizontal Pod Autoscaler adds pods when CPU or other metrics rise, and node autoscalers add machines when pods need room. Try the autoscaling simulator.
Can you move our existing apps to Kubernetes?
Yes — we containerise apps, add health checks and configuration, write Helm charts and migrate service by service.
How do you secure clusters?
Least-privilege RBAC, network policies, image scanning, signed images, secrets management, policy as code and regular upgrades.
How do you control Kubernetes costs?
Right-size resource requests, scale pods and nodes automatically, use spot or preemptible nodes where safe, and report cost per team or service.
Do you handle Kubernetes upgrades?
Yes — planned upgrades with testing, so clusters stay on supported versions without surprises.
Do you offer 24/7 support?
We offer managed support plans with monitoring and agreed response times. See software maintenance.
