Food and beverage ERP · Lot traceability
Every ingredient lot is scanned into the batch it goes into, and every batch out to the pallet and customer that received it. When a supplier calls about a bad lot, you know exactly what to pull and who to call, before the audit clock runs out.
Choose a supplier lot. The ERP lights up every batch made with it and every customer who received those batches, with quantities. Example data.
Hover or tap each part of the lot code. The ERP builds the code for each run and prints it, so nobody types it by hand.

It is the ability to follow every lot of ingredient and packaging into the batches it was used in, and every batch out to the customers who received it. If something goes wrong, you can find exactly what is affected and where it went.
Forward tracing starts from a supplier lot and finds every batch and customer it reached. Backward tracing starts from a finished product, often after a complaint, and finds every ingredient lot and supplier behind it.
With scanning at receipt, production and dispatch, a full trace report with quantities and customer contacts takes seconds. Many teams on paper or spreadsheets take several hours.
A lot code identifies one production run. A common format combines plant, line, a Julian date, shift and a sequence number, such as L24296B017. The ERP builds it automatically and prints it on the label.
Yes. Cartons and pallets carry GTIN (01), batch (10), expiry (17) and SSCC (00), so retailers and distributors can scan lot data straight into their systems.
FSSAI recall rules in India, FDA FSMA 204 in the USA, EU General Food Law 178/2002, and audit schemes such as HACCP, BRCGS and FSSC 22000. You still need your own food safety plan; the ERP keeps the records those rules ask for.
First expiry, first out. The scanner directs pickers to the lot that expires first, which cuts waste and avoids shipping short-dated stock.
A check that the ingredient quantities going in match the product, waste and samples coming out for a batch or period. Gaps point to unrecorded use or loss.
