It tracks fabric roll by roll, from receipt to cutting, with metres, weight, width, GSM, shade lot and location for each roll. You always know what you have and where it is.
Rolls differ in shade, width and defects. Roll-wise tracking lets you cut one garment from one shade lot, choose rolls that suit the marker width, and trace any fault back to the roll.
After dyeing or on receipt, rolls get a shade group such as A, B or C. When issuing to cutting, the system keeps one lay or one order within the same shade group.
Quantity × consumption per piece × (1 + wastage). Consumption comes from the marker or an average per size. The ERP compares it with free stock and open POs.
Yes. Woven fabric is usually in metres and knits in kg. Each roll keeps both, using GSM and width to convert.
Defects are scored 1 to 4 points by length. Points per 100 square metres decide whether a roll passes. The ERP records points and holds failing rolls.
End bits and unused rolls come back from cutting with their actual length and are available for small orders or samples.
Yes. Fabric sent for dyeing, printing or knitting is tracked out and back, with process loss and e-way bills.
