FAQ

Production stage questions

Answers for owners, merchandisers and planners.

What is production stage tracking in garments?

It follows each order through every stage, from sampling and materials to cutting, sewing, finishing, packing and shipment. You always know how many pieces are at each stage and whether the order will ship on time.

What is a T&A calendar?

A Time and Action calendar lists the key tasks for an order, like lab dips, fabric arrival, PP sample, cutting and inspection, with planned dates working back from the ship date. The ERP alerts you before a task slips.

How is WIP tracked?

Bundle scans at each stage move pieces forward. The ERP shows pieces waiting at every stage by order, style, size and colour.

How does the system predict late orders?

It compares remaining pieces with daily output and days left to the ship date. Orders are marked on time, at risk or late.

Can it track job work like washing or embroidery?

Yes. Pieces sent out and received back are tracked by vendor with quantities, losses and challans.

Can buyers see progress?

Yes. You can share a read-only view or regular reports with stage progress and T&A status.

Do we need scanners at every stage?

Scanning gives the best data, but stages can also be updated on tablets or phones by supervisors.

Does it link to cutting and packing data?

Yes. It connects with cutting, sewing and packing modules so the same scans drive every report.

How long does setup take?

About 5 weeks, including T&A templates and a five-order pilot.
